Hi,
I ran a real estate agency for almost 15 years. Sold over 1000 homes.
We ran Google ads to get leads. They worked very well.
In fact, they worked so well that I didn't bother to develop any other source of leads.
After all, we were sending Google something like $15,000 a month, every month. They'd be insane to ever ban the account, right?

One day I get to the office. Open the computer. Check the numbers.
Big red banner across the top of the Ads Manager.
YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN SUSPENDED.
Went through all the appeals, sent in tickets, tried to talk to someone at Google.
Every day. For WEEKS.
And nothing worked.
We were spending close to $200,000 / year with this company and I never got to talk to a human being, ever.
In the meantime there were no leads coming in. So work started drying up.
Two years later I get a random email from Google.
Telling me the account was "reinstated".
Whoop-dee-doo.
They didn't apologize, never told me why it was suspended in the first place.
That one occurrence absolutely dropped a nuke on my business.
And don't get me wrong - this is not me whining and crying about it. I take full responsibility for this happening. Should have NEVER bet the farm on one method of lead generation.
And since then I'm proud to say that I haven't repeated that mistake.
