Hi,
It's Arno.
Whenever I do client work I'm expected to add a lot of things.
New pages.
New emails.
New content to their Google My Business Profile.
New ad campaigns and angles and offers and guarantees and creatives and soooooo much more.
Just one problem.
Adding more stuff is usually the worst thing you can do.
Let's say you're a doctor. Patient comes in. His belly hurts.
You respond by throwing some opioids at him.
After all, this makes total sense!
Man is in pain. Opioids are good against pain. 1+1 = 2.
This is a great way to lose your medical license in a hurry.
You're supposed to figure out what is ACTUALLY wrong with the man and then you come up with treatment.
Blindly adding something to the mix will probably not help and might even kill the patient.
Same thing goes for marketing.
Before you start adding stuff to GMB... let's first get a feeling for WHY we're not ranking #1 yet.
Before you start adding new campaigns to Google Ads... let's see how the current campaigns perform and what we could improve.
Before you start filling op Meta with new creatives... let's see how the campaigns do right now and what elements we could double down on.
Stop randomly throwing pills at things. It ruins your results.
Talk soon,
Arno
